  • 2 Tbsp + 1 tsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped pistachios
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk Honey Glaze: Combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper, and salt.
  3. Glaze Salmon: Place salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet and brush with glaze.
  4. Make Pistachio Crust: Combine pistachios, sesame seeds, and 1 tsp honey.
  5. Apply Crust: Press pistachio mixture onto glazed salmon fillets.
  6. Bake to Perfection: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily.
  7. Rest & Glaze: Rest for 2 minutes, then spoon glaze over fillets.
