Ingredients
- 4 (150g) salmon fillets, skin-on
- 2 Tbsp + 1 tsp honey
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.25 cup finely chopped pistachios
- 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk Honey Glaze: Combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper, and salt.
- Glaze Salmon: Place salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet and brush with glaze.
- Make Pistachio Crust: Combine pistachios, sesame seeds, and 1 tsp honey.
- Apply Crust: Press pistachio mixture onto glazed salmon fillets.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily.
- Rest & Glaze: Rest for 2 minutes, then spoon glaze over fillets.
- Plate & Garnish: Plate with sesame seeds, cilantro, and lemon wedges.
