- 2–3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (30-45ml)
- Sea salt, to taste

- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC), allowing 10-15 minutes to fully heat.
- Slice Baguette: Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette into uniform 0.5-inch (1.25cm) thick rounds, aiming for 20-30 slices per loaf.
- Brush with Oil: Arrange slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Lightly brush or drizzle both sides of each slice with olive oil until they glisten.
- Toast to Perfection: Bake for 8-12 minutes at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC), flipping halfway through. Look for golden brown edges and a crisp feel; if soft after cooling, return to oven for a few more minutes.
- Season Immediately: As soon as the crostini come out of the oven, while still warm, sprinkle lightly with sea salt to enhance flavor and adhesion.
