  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil (15ml)
  • ยฝ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (60g)
  • ยฝ cup shredded cheddar cheese (60g)
  • ยผ cup roasted red pepper basil cream cheese (60g)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes (5g)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chives, chopped (30g)
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil (optional, 5ml)

Instructions

  1. Make Garlic Butter: Combine butter, garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
  2. Butter Bread: Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Add Cream Cheese: Spread roasted red pepper cream cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices.
  4. Layer Cheeses: Distribute mozzarella and cheddar over the cream cheese.
  5. Assemble Sandwich: Top with remaining bread slices, buttered sides out.
  6. Cook First Side: Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Add Spice & Cook Second Side: Flip, sprinkle with paprika/flakes, and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
