- 100g (0.5 cup) Granulated Sugar
- 80g (0.67 cup) Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 tsp (5ml) Alcohol-Free Vanilla Extract
- 200g (1.67 cup) All-Purpose Flour
- 0.5 tsp (2g) Baking Soda
- 0.25 tsp (1g) Salt
- 150g (5oz) White Chocolate Chips
- 50g (1.76 oz) White Chocolate, Chopped
- 30g (2 tbsp) Unsalted Butter
- 20ml (1.3 tbsp) Heavy Cream or Coconut Cream
- 1 tsp (2g) Culinary-Grade Matcha Powder
- 120g (0.5 cup) Caramel Sauce
- 0.25 tsp (1g) Flaky Sea Salt
- 2 tbsp (15g) Toasted Sliced Almonds, Chopped
- Optional: Extra Matcha Powder
Instructions
- Prep Oven & Pans: Preheat oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF) and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Cream Sugars & Butter: Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add Egg & Vanilla: Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in Chocolate: Gently fold in white chocolate chips.
- Make Matcha Ganache: Melt white chocolate, butter, and cream; whisk in matcha.
- Scoop & Swirl: Scoop dough, top with ganache, and swirl gently.
- Bake to Golden: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden.
- Drizzle & Salt: Drizzle with caramel and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cool Completely: Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Notes
For best results, use softened (not melted) butter and avoid overmixing the dough. Cooling the ganache slightly before swirling prevents it from sinking.
