  2. Slice Baguette: Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette into uniform 0.5-inch (1.25cm) thick rounds, aiming for 20-30 slices per loaf.
  3. Brush with Oil: Arrange slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Lightly brush or drizzle both sides of each slice with olive oil until they glisten.
